Burnout froze and then PSP shut down.

A couple of days ago I was playing Burnout Dominator on the train home.  In the middle of a race it froze for several seconds and then the PSP shut down.  I turned it back on and it went straight to the PSP main menu.Battery was at least half full, I havn%26#39;t dropped it and it%26#39;s only two months old. Anyone know why this might happen? Burnout froze and then PSP shut down.
burnout Dominator is a very buggy game. it happens all the time. its the devs fault, not the PSP. shotty programming.Burnout froze and then PSP shut down.
Just looked at the Gamespot Burnout Dominator page, EA is listed as the developer.  Should have known! :roll:

The same thing once happened to me with Liberty City Stories. I was furious xD.
I%26#39;ve had 30+ games and no crashes, I hope this is a very rare thing.  Although, I remember way back reading that Madden (or other EA game) had lock-up problems?Anyone remember this?
Burnout Legends frooze on me a couple of times as well.  I%26#39;m sure its on the software side of things.

The same thing happened to me while playing Ratchet %26 Clank the other day.  So, I don%26#39;t think it is game-related.  My guess is that both our PSPs encountered some sort of fatal firmware error (something similar to Windows Blue Screen of Death)...causing the PSP to shut itself down.
Happens to me constantly on Full Auto 2. All my other games run fine, but when I try to play that it freezes and shuts down.
It happened again a couple of days ago, right when I was just about to win a gold medal as well. :(
It happened when I was playing Socom Navy Seals Bravo 2 in instracturfure mode and I was doing good and it shut off on me I was Pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed, in numerous other sites that i have been to trying to find out what was wrong and how to fix it, that no one has actually posted a solution to this problem. Its not just limited to UMDs and memstick games either; mine crashes just when scrolling across the startup menu.
It happens, it happened to me a quite a few time, I'm guessing this is not a PSP Sytem problem.
It happens to me when I play my psp for more than 2 hours.
same thing happened to me while playing GOW demo
its not a big deal this freeze ups happened to me a couple of times. u just have to turn it off and on again and ull be back to the cross bar menu. its just annyoing thats all. as long as u dont have a homebrew or something theres nothin to worry about
I AGREE....IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT IT IS ANNOYING! THIS HAPPENS TO ME WHILE PLAYING ''BURNOUT D''. I DOWNLOADED IT ONTO MY PSP GO AND IT ONLY FREEZES IN THE ''ELEMINATOR'' ROUND IN THE FIRST SECTION OF THE GAME.....NON OF MY OTHER GAMES DO THIS.

Lots of games freeze from time to time. It's a computer program; you have to expect this kind of thing.
