Hi there,Questions as above.I was wondering if you are able to play games for longer if the game data is used via the memory stick instead of the UMD?I suppose the same could be said for the battery life of a movie UMD and a movie from your memory stick?I owned a PSP from launch, it broke, and now I'm considering buying again but i don't see the point in the cost for the go when I could just buy a 16gb memory stick and fill it with the same games thus having a bigger screen and the ability to swap batteries? Please let me know!Does anyone download games meant for the ...
Yes you can :)Does anyone download games meant for the ...
so games accessed by the memory card mean the battery life is longer than if you use UMD?I cant believe there was never a test done on this?
Well, I don't think anyone has done the actual study of it, but if you think about it, it makes sense. Solid state harddrives are sort of the wave of the future because less moving parts means less battery requirement and less heat production. I would agree with the earlier comment that using memory stick instead of UMD would use less battery because you are not having to use power to spin the disk. Like I said, there is no real evidence for this, it just makes sense, to me, at least.Fewer moving parts-less power needed
decision made! cheers fellas!
Holy Crap! I didn't know you could do that! :D

Really? I was downloading games for my launch system off of PSN years ago :P Crash Bandicoot and Syphon Filter, for instance, have been up on the North America store for more than 3 years
