psp go trade in value

does anyone know the trade in value of the psp go at Gamestop. i hardly played this thing since i got it. want to get something for it before the price dropspsp go trade in value
Half of what you paid. so around $130, perhaps a bit more if you trade it in for credit depending on the store. i havea psp that i hardly touch too, but i don't think it's worth trading it in.I mean if you play games at all when you are travelling or commuting, no matter how good a smartphone gets, the psp will still bea better platform for games and it has at least 20 excellent titles. Of course!!!!!!!!!!!! It almost like a home console sized fer ya hand! plays also music, movies, upload pictures, mod it PSP sweetness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is if you know what to do with it, then it basically becomes a mini-computer.
I anwer everything the same way, it depends on what you want. It offers it's own line of games and movies that can be bought in umd format, IMO not much of it is very good. PSN has movies games and more available that includes alot of the umd games as wll as alot of the psone games, plenty other movies as well, lots of good stuff. If you need something to keep you busy and don't have alot of music you can take it along as well, there are options that can bring it up to 32gb(pspgo w/16gb card). It can act as everything an ipod can with a stronger emphasis on games that are far better than ipod/zune type games, alot of people prefer ds games but ds can't really do movies and musi, etc.

I was gonna get it launch day but Im consdering hunting down the limited edition PSX boxset instead... or atleast first.
This is the first RPG to catch my attention in forever, as far as a new game. I really am very jazzed about it after playing through the demo!!! The colors are vibrant, the story is good with a touch of humor, and it's just incredible in my opinion in terms of gameplay and battle flow.I may even get it on launch, if I'm finished with ''Chrono Trigger'' by then. I've never played it, I bought it for my nephew, who liked the LSSH demo as he watched over my shoulder, and asked for a game for his DS. I went out and got a used copy cheap and started it up, y'know, just to see if it was good for a ten-year-old... and now I'm hooked on it and trying to finish in a hurry so I can drop it by his house...:lol:But back on topic (sorry) I haven't anticipated a game like this in forever... very psyched, very psyched indeed!!!
Yeah, I played the demo and am pretty excited for this game. I have never played it before so it is new to me. The demo looked sharp.
Played through the demo twice, and I love the battle system and the game's graphic style. (although the white dragon reminds me of The Hobbit...) Almost definitely getting this, as long as I have the funds for it.
If there is a way to turn off the awful voice-acting I might pick it up.
Demo was great and am def excited for this game and Socom FTB3.
I'll pick it up when P3P comes out, which is when I'm getting an actual PSP, at least that's the plan. March is FF13 month, so that's no good.

:D Apogee and iD Software fanboy over here! I still have the shareware and freeware versions myself and then I splurged at 3D Realms/old Apogee site some time back and bought a title or two that I didn't have.

RE: Lunar: SSH - I'm really looking forward to the enhancements made to the game to make it better suit the capabilities of the PSP. I always thought its graphics were already pretty top notch for its time and I'm excited to see if they'll push the graphics more for the PSP release.
I'm sure that this game will recieve a whole mess of apathy over it's ''dated'' gameplay and ''lack of inovation''... but I for one am looking forward to a look back. Complexities in menu system and minutia of choices are what kind of turned me off to the RPG genre, rather like the last football game i ever found myself enjoying was ''Joe Montana'' on my Genesis. Madden and the like have become these monsters of simulation which have alienated the passive player, in my opinion... and while I have love for games like ''Final Fantasy VIII'', I think a game like that can be severely daunting to try and surmount for the noobish among us like my lil' nephew.
I will also hunt this game down.

The two games are very different in approach, so getting both is where I'm at. I have ''Origins'' and I really liked it despite the mediocre reception it got with critics. A very, VERY few minor control issues predominantly associated with the camera changing view effecting control of the character aside, I thought the game really stood out for it's graphics and audio work, and it's one of the more ''tangible'' plot lines in the ''Silent Hill'' story arch. Just as ''Resistance: Retribution'' and ''The Force Unleashed'' show what the PSP is capable of, so I think, does ''Silent Hill Origins''. You can't go wrong with the game if you like survival horror.It's third-person view, the map system gently guides you to where you need to go next, and the combat feels adequately fluid without becoming too easy... you're supposed to feel a little unfamiliar with a gun, or smashing something in the face with a toaster...*WHAM!*:shock:This ''Silent Hill'' allows you to commit a finishing move on the baddies, which is kind of a first I believe. In the past you were able to stun something into submission but it eventually regained it's faculties and came after you... in this game, you can clear a hallway or a room, albeit temporarily... as monsters often re-populate a place if you re-tread a location.The puzzles are good without being anything intellectually brutal, and the cut scenes are done really well.The new game, ''Shattered Memories'', is an over-the-shoulder game more in keeping with the popular ''Resident Evil 4'' gameplay, and you only have a flashlight against the things that ooze in the fog... there is no combat, your only option is to run from whatever threatens you, and so there's a much higher emphasis placed on exploration and evasion than in any of the previous games. I'd get orgins first. you should be able to find it pretty cheap, then by the time you finish it hopefully you'll be able to find shattered memories a bit cheaper.

The PSP verison suffers from a lot longer load times, frequent loads, loads mid way through cutscenes and dialogue. I think the game was just too ambitious for the PSP. I would suggest Origins on the PSP, because Climax actually developed the title for the system.
but I heard from a friend thatsilenthill origns is a one off and is not part of the silent hill story like the first one when he loses his daughter cheryl and 2,3 are part of the story but not 4 I think that why I might buy shattered memories but in the gamespot scores it says it is short but not sure thank you for the help

I personally wasn't fond of Origins. I felt that it was too streamline, the story only mildly interesting considering the subject matter, and the overall length to be a disappointment. (Example: beating the game in under 2 hours nets you an unlockable.)Shattered Memories I found to be a much more fresh experience then Origins. The story was gripping and unpredictable, the chase scenes where tense, ESPECIALLY when you're low on health with no idea where to go. The graphics, while not without their rough edges, still shine through beautifully on the PSP screen. Also the score to the game is haunting (no pun intended) and wonderfully handled, and the length is about twice as long as the other Silent Hill handheld title. Which still makes it short, (clocking in at only 6 to 7 hours,) but there's plenty incentive to return and give it another go!So as its quite obvious by now, I find Shattered Memories to be the better of the two. But whichever it be that you choose, I hope you enjoy either way! ;)
I got shattered memories because it was better than origns and longer so I brought it really like it but stuck on the bit where your in forest nightmare any help

Well, I don't have Little Big Planet in particular, but I think that all games that have music playing in the background should have custom music options.

I thought that the GO was dumb when it first came out ,but that 16 gig hard drive with the ability to add 16 gigs more thru a memory card makes the GO a good deal. YES more games being released would help the GO, but all 3 of my UMD's are available in the PSN downloads.

I do like the GO but I have a 3000 aswell and really I dont see any point in getting a GO if you already have a PSP that works (I got my GO as a present). But if you have seen enough you like on the PSN and the GO has a larger memory then maybe it might be worth looking into and its compact if you travel a lot its nice to have a range of games in the one device without worrying about carrying UMDs aswell. It has its pros and cons it all really depends on if your willing to spend in the money and if UMDs you aren't to fussed about.
To me...I don't think it is. My cousin has one and he traded it back for PSP regualr one. To me if you ahve a regular working PSP then that's all you need. Just my 2 cents though.

it depends on what you are looking for, if the games you want are all on psn or the ones that aren't there don't bother you it is a good deal, you can find it far cheaper than around the release, the 16 gb is great and it is very mobile. No real reason to not like it.
The lack of physical media means that the PSP go is a joke.

me personally, i want to have a psp go to go with my 3000, i'll just use my 3000 for long trips, and the go for everyday, the 3000 looks so kiddish to me, i like the go for whatching movies etc without looking immature
