I have transfered gif files to the psp picture and they don't play or show on the psp ? When I look it up on the PC via usb it tells me that it is there ? Where do I put it ? or does it not accept gif files ? Can you put a gif file in the PSP?
psp doesn't accept gif files, but it's easy to convert most image formats into jpeg which the psp does acceptCan you put a gif file in the PSP?
The PSP most certainly does display GIFs. If animated, the animation won't show up in the image viewer, but will in the browser. If you want to use the browser to view an animated GIF, say one called image.gif in your \PICTURE folder, you would open the browser and type in file://PICTURE/image.gif.
oh, well i didn't know that, sorry for my wrong post then.

I could not get that to work. Unless of course I need to have active Internet access? Because that's what it searched for every time.

Do you have a home page or something set? In any event, when it tries to connect, you should be able to just cancel and get to a blank browser page.

It should read file:/PICTURE/filename.gif. That should do it.
Nope, I've tried it before.
