Army of Two the 40th Day = Epic Fail

A few reviews have arrived, and this game is already bad.Army of Two the 40th Day = Epic Fail
i vaguely played the demo but didn't have much time with it... i like the overhead view and smash tv shooting control (old snes game), but yeah i'd probably not buy it.Army of Two the 40th Day = Epic Fail

So what ! reviewers are not the allmighty game testers. I played the demo and I love it. I even prefere it over GTA: CTW which got great reviews.

Trading GTA tomorrow to get Army of Two the 40th Day PSP instead ;)
A buddy of mine hooked me up with a copy earlier today. It aint that bad. Moral choices are the same as the home consoles version and the story follows them pretty closely so far , heck even most of the cut scenes are the same
Read my review on the page for it either here or on IGN. I gave it a 9.0. You can't believe everything you read. On top of that IGN is the one with the article that reads ''Should Sony Abandon the PSP?'', They are just trying to get it into the grave by making people think that every game is gonna suck from now on. Especially if you look at some of the lackluster scores they have been giving good games lately I.E. Army of Two: The 40th Day.
Get out.

Thank you, have you played this yet?

Motorstorm: Arctic Edge is friggin tight you should already have it lol.
The demo of Ao2 was alright, there was nothing particularly broken about it, but tell me what I missed because I didn't see a 9. Is the complete game more dimensional than the demo? I'm not asking with sarcasm, rather genuine interest.:DWhat I saw was sort of ''Liberation''-esque gameplay with ''Robotron'' controls - which I like - but there wasn't much aside from move-right-shoot. Am I wrong? Or, does it just really do the move-right-shoot really well?

The demo doesn't really do the game justice, there is more environmental traversal than just move right shoot. It is much better than the demo portrays.
Well then... if you say so, Fender, that's enough of a recommend for me to try it again or at least give it another chance!
i doubt you will like it stone. it's too arcadey for you. and from your previous game choices, you seem to avoid arcade type games like the plague. also the challenge isn't that much so you will get bored quickly. if i remember correctly, you did not like killzone liberation either, and that one had more depth than this one. but hey, who knows you might end up liking it.
The similarities to ''Liberation'' were what turned me off to it initially, Jason... so perhaps you're right... I just don't WANT to dislike it, if that makes sense. I loves me a good violent shooter...

To be honest, I didn't quite get why the game is good just from reading your review. You didn't said anything about the gameplay, whereas the reviewer from IGN stated pretty clearly how bad the gameplay was.

I, of course, can't judge the game base on a single review, so I'll wait for at least 10 or so reviews before thinking about buying this game.

I think its partly due to the fact that Im so accustomed to the liberation control scheme and going to something different was uncomfortable. However the demo didnt get me excited or crunk at all. Hopefully FTB3 will fill my shooting void.
