Is Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines bad?

I'm thinking of buying the game but is it that bad that GameSpot gave it a 5.5 on their review?

Should I trust them or GameSpot is just giving low scores on their reviews lately? Is Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines bad?
Gamespot always gives low reviews man, it's a scandal imo.But no, AC: Bloodlines is solid; great if your an AC fan to begin with. Certainly not a 5.5..It's essentially AC 1.5 Portable. A lot like AC1, with a few elements of AC2 thrown in, all in a scaled down portable package.I'd give IGN's review a look if your interested, it's pretty spot on..Is Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines bad?
Thanks for pointing out IGN's review, but I think I will buy a PS3 first and play the first one before playing this 1.5.
why does gamespot always compare psp games to the console version? its a portable game of course it wont be as good as the console version they need to reveiw psp games better
It's really good! It's cool to have a game similar to this on the PSP. Only low point, it's very easy.
Still, being able to bring over some weapons from the AC 1.5 ver to the ps3 ver is worth it

The only limiting factor in a portable game is graphics, and lesser graphics does not prevent a game from being great.
Damn, I'm rather blind then, I really didn't like this game. I'm not comparing it to the console version, but I just found it far too easy, very boring and sometimes glitchy. I will give it the benefit of the doubt, the graphics are rather good, but there's so many downpoints for me to class it as 'an essential PSP purchase'. I mean c'mon, the streets in every city are bare, hardly anyone walking about... not exactly a feel of a pure assassin anyhow.
Well I dunno, although it has a 6.5 score here, I pretty much enjoyed the game as any Assassin's Creed game. It has really good ideas taht we didn't see in the first game. Recommendable.

Graphics?Really? Guess loading times, NPC count and level size and complexity are things reviewers and gamers just ignore. The PSP cant keep up with current gen games and multyplat titles on the PSP always get lower review scores.

Ontopic the game is by no means bag but as some one sayd its kinda easy , but arent all Assassins Creeds?

Which is all part of technical limitation; and is almost entirely about graphics. Load times are due to textures and such being loaded--i.e. graphics. NPC count and level size... well those things aren't a factor in most games (and again are mostly about graphics; textures and objects), and in those that do aren't necessarily limiting (look at chinatown wars). You're griping about technical limitations when such are never really in the way of making a good game. Heck, some of the best games of all time can be run through emulation on the PSP.
Omg,Read the review.Ignore the score.

They did compare the PSP version of Tekken 6 with the console versions but they still praised it.

Yeah, Tek... but isn't the praise built on the fact that the PSP version (of Tekken 6) is actually a strong title, and not because of it's place in the franchise? I think the observations by Cali about the game, and others who have said positive things about ACB aren't wrong; I often find that a ''Mediocre'' game in a reviewer's eyes changes dramatically in my own because of my passion for a given game's qualities or subject matter. But a reviewer's job is to, as objectively as possible, point out all of the strengths and weaknesses of a title or piece of hardware so that consumers can make as educated a decision as possible when making a purchase without coloring it too much. An umpire or line judge who makes the much needed passionless call on whether or not something is in or out.

I thought ''Silent Hill: Origins'' was a lot better than the reviews... I liked ''Sky Odyssey'' on PS2 a lot more than the reviews, to the point where it went on to be my all-time-greatest-loved-game on the system hands-down. Were either of these games considered the tops by reviewers? Certainly not.

I think that if you like the AC universe, there's nothing wrong with liking ACB. But even those who love it admit there are faults and bugs to the game... it doesn't mean their fun-factor was diminished appreciably but based on your fanship, your milage may vary...

After a certain point you need to put the review down, stop listening to other folks, and either pull the trigger and jump in or don't... but it all comes down to personal taste and that's why they make strawberry and chocolate... 'cuz not everyone likes vanilla. Thank Jah... what a boring planet it would be if we all liked the same things.
i think reviews are more believable than scores...
