I know it is dumb that they do it without warning but that is Sony for you and they really don't care if you complain about it. Wish I could tell you different but that's just how it is.
So essentially you just gave Sony an interest-free loan by pre-ordering... There will be PLENTY of copies available on launch, this is just scandalous taking your (and thousands upon possible HUNDREDS of thousands of people's) money and laughing. Well-played, Sony.

You gotta admit, it's pretty smart of them to stick the consumer that way... It's kind of like how GameStop takes pre-orders on even just-announced titles so that they have all that money to start acruing interest (or in the case of ''Gran Turismo'') then if the title is delayed, they still get to bank on the pre-order cash without providing anything to the customer. Brilliant scam. If they take hundreds or thousands of pre-orders worth of cash and put it to work, they can get a great head-start on re-cooping their cash.
Sorry for to see your despointment. Yeah you will have to wait until it come out sucks i know but that just the way it is.Life not fair so why should Sony be any diffirent

You will be paying the same price no matter what. It's more of they make their sales look better earlier but it hurts them later when they fork over the game and don't get the sale for that month. But they are trying to spread the sales out over time as much as they can so their funds are constantly moving. The accountant for our company does this all of the time and it is no different than the pre-ording stuff. Also, I could not know what I'm talking about.
