Ideas for the PS store

The PS Store is great but it's not perfect here what I would like to see:1-Pictures and gameplay video of each games, just a description doesn't cut it.2-Demo for each games3-A wish list so I can make a line up of game i would like and come back to buy them later or wait for a special price.4-Apps for the PSP, why Sony doesn't have apps other then games for the psp ? like calendar, email, alarm clock, picture editing and all sort of little software that would give the psp an extra value. I saw some language learning stuff, but it needs to be more stuff.also would be great to have a PSPgo category for downloadable games on Gamespot because it's hard to know with new release and oldies sometime if they are available at the store.Ideas for the PS store
MORE GAMES!!!Ideas for the PS store
User reviews for the games. Especially for the minis. Users should be able to rate the games and if they want write a description on why it is good/sucks.

Sure, why not?2. Absolutely not, that would be way too much work.3. No, you know what games you want, if you really want them, go find them.4. No, the PSP is NOT an iPhone.

Would be nice but like you said in 2, this would also be quite a bit of work though for what Sony charges for games I think they have enough to fund something like this.2. I actually disagree. It really wouldn't be too much work. How it could be set up with ease is that you would download the whole game but with a demo liscence on it. If you end up buying the game then the demo liscence would be taken off and you wouldn't have to download any more. This is how Xbox live arcade games are handled. I could see someone saying that downloading a 1GB game just for a demo that you probably won't buy is not feasible which I can't fight against that point. Another problem would be that Sony's servers would be working a lot more as people would be constantly downloading full games just for the demo. There are problems but there is a possibility of setting this up easily.3. I know what games I want but a wishlist would be a nice quick list to go to and check the prices on. Not much of a big deal but it would be a great option.4. The PSP is not an iPhone but why not use the power of the machine to do cool stuff with. I bought a Go instead of a iPhone or iPod because I do not like how the i's are set up and I'm sure most people's incomes do not allow for having both devices so why not have apps. If you don't like them then don't buy them. The PSP has a whole homebrew society out there with their hacked PSPs which I will never do to mine but why doesn't Sony compete with this. I realize that you would have to pay for PSN apps but at least it would be more to offer users to try to keep them from hacking their PSPs. PSP has showed interest in doing this but haven't acted on it. They are only concerned about making the PSP unhackable; in my opinion that is the wrong route as there will always be someone out there to figure it out.

There's a Minis Review Thread on this forum, and then too you can see gameplay videos of just about every game on the YouTubes. Another helpful forums member turned me onto that as an aid in purchasing Minis. Check it out.
This is annoying for me because we have like 20 or 30 ps1 classics on the aussie PSN store and I would like to see more.but i do agree with a raiting system of some sort for games.
When considering PSOne games, this site here has a LOT of those games faithfully reviewed and I find that even today, most of them hold water after ten-plus years (for example, the review of ''Ten Pin Alley'' and it's physics model was excuse the pun, spot-on, and I have been enjoying the title on my PSP ever since).

I've purchased a bunch of the PSOne games, perhaps I'll knuckle down and review a few... which ones are you lookin' at on the Aussie store? Perhaps I can help ya...

@ 2. The hackers would love that. It would probably be pretty easy to find a way to remove the licenses.

I can tell you that both of the ''Pandemonium!'' games are fantastic 3D platformers with 2D mechanics, meaning it looks 3D but it's not really it just has dynamic visuals of a 3D game... trippy levels and excellent design with fantastic controls... one of the best platformers to ever show up on the system. If you like that kind of game, you won't be disappointed - though be warned there is a password system on the game, not a save, so you need to write down codes - But the games are uber-worth it. ''MediEvil'' (the PSOne title) is pretty rockin' too... that one is a bit more of a collector/ platformer in full 3D. Presentation and controls have aged well as has ''Crash Bandicoot'' (the first one) in every sense. The music alone takes me back instantly, but the gameplay and level design make the game a classic.
#4: Yes that would be spectacular. Only downside is Sony will screw us over like with the minis (Tetris=$10??). I'm guessing like $5.00 for a calander or some stupid thing like that.

I have the exact same problem with Metal Gear Solid, too. :(
