can you check what motherboard a psp has ...

ok like in my previous post i am looking to buy a psp, most likely 2nd hand and a 2000 model. i will go around looking in 2nd hand shops (pawn shops) to look at ranging prices, is there anyway i can check a psp's motherboard by looking the back the console or anything like that. or anything thing i can do besides buying it and taking it home to see motherboard.can you check what motherboard a psp has ...
Why do you need to see the motherboard?

I thought it was the same on all PSP versions anyway.can you check what motherboard a psp has ...

Wild guess, I think you need to check the firmware and not the motherboard...
if researched a bit and found you can do it with whatever firmware its just a certain motherboard which prevents it.
