How does the psp goes blank screen?

I bought a PSP 2004 with a mother board: ta-085 from November 2009,so I don't know why cfw 5.50 gen d2 or 3 in one week later, my psp goes into blank screen with green light when turn on,Please tell me if you know how come the psp went blank screen with green light on?From now on My psp is using ofw 6.20.

i dont do the custom firmware but my PSP 2000 a yr ago all of sudden had a black screen with 3 dots. it later morphed into all types of wierd screens. The system works as i could still play games. music and videos but coudlnt see what i was doing. I was later told it was an internal problemHow does the psp goes blank screen?
We cannot discuss issues that are had with any CFW or anything to do with CFW on these boards. Are you still getting a black screen with 6.20 OFW?It is always recommended to keep up with the OFW updates.
