I have the game sans extra car DLs, and I agree with you I think it's one of the best on the system!!! More power to ya, brother!!!i love gran turismo (with pics)
i cant for the life of me get a gold in the last challenge of section A, its getting me seriously angry :P
hints?
the umd with no ''UMD'' sign also apeared in my case of monster hunter freedom unite and soul calibur. i was like... woot o.O heh :D
Yeah, it's pretty awesome, though there are tons of little annoyances. But the actual driving is fun and that's all that really matters...
I have Monte Carlo (de Azure) in my POCKET!!! That's worth the price right there... plus the other 34 tracks, I'm pissin a gold chain over this game... 8)
Must... have.... GT.. too....Damn them! Damn the developers!Releasing GT and Motorstorm within days of eachother. Have they no hearts?Seriously considering living off of ramen and mountain dew for a month to afford this tomorrow.Talk about a heyday for racing fans..

Both are good difficulty, both are a lot of fun, and both are sort of specialist games. Depends, do you wanna knock Nazis out of the sky or buy tons of cars?:P''GT'' is definitely the more polished of the two games, but I have a real love for WWII flight games so I'm kind of a bad one to ask, but I would say if you are a fan of the GT series you can't go wrong or feel like you made the bad choice there, for sure. ''Sturmovik'' is a lot of fun but I have neglected it for days now in favor of the flavor of the week, GT. New toy an' all, y'understand...... but you could buy ''Sturmovik'' and wait for GT to drop at least $10. Perhaps it will happen. On the other hand, GT might end up being like ''Ace Combat X'' and fetching a high price for the life of the system. I guess the only thing I can back you up on, is eventually owning both!I'm such an addict of both those games right now... riding a high...The UMDs of both games are identically priced to their PSN counterparts unless you are lucky and grab the collector's edition like this gent who started the thread. I wasn't clued in by my game retailer as to the version being available and I told him I was a rabid fan, so you would think that he would have offered it if it was to be had... I feel like finding out if a SE was issued here in the states... I'd buy another copy, it's that good.
Wow... been playing GT so much my eyes is goin' weak...... I have about 20 cars, most of them picked for a reason, but i DID buy that little Mazda Rickshaw (or whatever it is, a little delivery truck basically) for no good reason other than it made me laugh. $5000 for it, at this point that's chump change with all of the credits I built up tryign to get 'S' ratings on various tracks - folks, it may not be CALLED such, but there definitely IS a career mode in this game. Getting top ratings is a tough hill to climb, too. You really need to tweak out the settings or some of the coolest cars seem almost undrivable in competition!!!I'm very impressed with the difference in handling and horsepower modeling on this version between various rides. How's everyone else progressing? Unlock any dream cars yet? The Ford GT40 was a bit out of my price range last time it surfaced, and I'm still waiting to see BMW dealers come to market... but in finishing a variety of License Tests I have also unlocked the use of custom soundtracks, which is really a very nice touch. Nothing like cruising Laguna Seca with the Sex Pistols andCee-Lo Greencranking!:)

Wow. I'm definitely buying Gran Turismo.

I also boughta Daihatsu Midget, who cant even go 100 kmh fastand a Citroen with 15 PS, just becausethey were so cheap and made me laugh .
Right on...... one of my favs right now has been the '67 Mazda Cosmo Sport L10A %26 L10B... great handling and awesome acceleration... The Amuse '04 S2000 R1 is a haul-*** bad mother in it's own right too, I went back and purchased the street version immediately after testing this car on a few tracks. My Lotus Elise settled down and started winning after I dropped the ride height a bit and worked on the suspension a bit... the Delivery Truck is the '98 Daihatsu Midget II. Cute little thing but functionally useless for racing. I have bought a lot of micros and minis, just because I love racing go-karts. The Nissan Micra rocks in that department... but I've spent a suprising amount of money on classics instead of SuperCars. Gonna get around to it, but when you see a '66 Shelby Cobra come up, it's hard not to drop $500,000 on it.It's like having your own little Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction in your pocket!!8)
hey, how do you get money?
challenges...methodically work through all the tracks?
only got 6 cars :D
